Hello Friends!!

This is post that is close to my heart! I'm so excited to introduce you to a big big part of my life and my dancing journey: the art of praise dancing.

I have always had a strong relationship with God all throughout my life. Anyone who has been rocking with me these past four years know how much my love for God has grown tremendously and how deeply I've missed praise dancing. Well, I'm at it again! This time with a modern twist!

I remember the moments vividly when God was calling me to use my talent of dance in the church. Would you believe that I was reluctant to do it? I was shy, scared, and felt one Boles sister (my older sister Khadijah) dancing was already enough. God has an unique and often humorous way of empowering you for something He's called you too. I joined my sister on our church's Ministry in Motion praise team, and over the course of years, it slowly became a team of one: me. I actually became spoiled by it. No choreography steps I had to stick with. Just a few choreographed moves, a song with a message, me, and the Holy Spirit. I had freedom of movement and feeling. I always was drawn to a certain song for a performance whether it was a message I needed, the church needed, or sometimes both. I always knew the song front to back, but as I'm dancing in the moment, the message would touch my heart. This is the reason why you may see me very emotional in many of my praise dance performances. Very few things in the world can touch that feeling. Just me and the Holy Spirit.

As I've gotten older, I realized that God has used that raw emotion to touch something in others. Through K B Dancing, I want God to continue using my emotions, my testimony, me to connect with something in someone else...

Until next time,

KB
